Love and War opens in the backstage locker room where Shannon Riley is found seated on a wooden bench seat as she looks up at John Cavanagh, Chris Cavanagh and Andy Donahue.
John Cavanagh: "Shame there ain't three of us in the semifinals of this tournament, ya know that?"
Chris Cavanagh: "Yeah come on, what the hell happened at the last Sunday Night Delight with you Andy?"
Andy Donahue: "You know, you guys are ball breakers. If I haven't heard enough of this shit over the past two weeks, I'm still hearing it now?"
John Cavanagh: "Maybe you'll learn from your mistakes."
Chris Cavanagh: "Yeah, you better win that battle royal tonight man. Better make sure its Celtic Club against Celtic Club for that Canadian Championship match."
John Cavanagh: "Exactly. This way I know I'll be defending against someone I can trust to do the right thing."
At that moment Chris shot John a puzzled look as Andy, frustrated and growing visibly angry looks down at the ground.
Chris Cavanagh: "Or me!"
John Cavanagh: "Yeah, Andy, or Trig."
Andy Donahue: "I'm sure we will all get it done tonight."
Chris Cavanagh: "I've gotta get going, I'm opening the show up. Time for the first of many Celtic Club celebrations tonight!"
Chris Cavanagh slaps his chest and walks towards the door of the locker room. John moves close to Andy.
John Cavanagh: "You know, the only reason I break your balls so much is that the biggest threat to us having that Canadian Championship is only in the semifinals because YOU allowed it."
Andy's look of anger turns into a look of emotional disappointment. He grew up idolizing guys like the Cavanaghs, he didn't want to fail them.
John Cavanagh: "Maybe, you should make sure that he doesn't ever have an opportunity to get that title."
John looks behind him, out of view of the camera before he walks off. Shannon gets up to follow John out of the room and Andy locks eyes with what John had alluded to. The camera pans out to see a metal baseball bat.

Tony: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to First Class Pro Wrestling presents: Love and War! We are live on pay-per-view from historic Maple Leaf Gardens-"
Lonnie: "It's got a different name now, Tony."
Tony: "It'll always be Maple Leaf Gardens, Lon. We've got the High Voltage Battle Royal Challenge tonight, a six-pack elimination match featuring our women's division and, of course, the culmination of our Canadian Championship tournament! Let's send it to Amanda Jackson to get the opening match going!"
"What's Left of the Flag" by Flogging Molly echoed throughout the arena as the always cocky Chris "Trigger" Cavanagh made his way to the ring. Trigger tossed his shirt into the crowd as he waited in the ring for his opponent.
Amanda: "The following contest is a semi-finals match in the FCPW Canadian Championship tournament. Introducing first, making his way to the ring from Hell's Kitchen, New York, representing The Celtic Club...Chris "Trigger" Cavanagh!!"
As the intro to 'Afterlife' ends, Jace steps through the curtain, planting one foot forward and pumping his fist. He pauses to look out into the crowd and nods as he takes in their reception, then starts walking down the ramp, interacting with the front row as he makes his way to the ring. Upon arriving at the base of the ramp, Jace climbs onto the ring apron and then up on the turnbuckles. He poses with one foot on the middle and one foot on the top turnbuckles and his right fist raised in the air before jumping down to the ring and turning to face towards the center.
Amanda: "And his opponent, he hails from Seattle, Washington..."The Eternal Student" Jace Mason!!"
Canadian Championship Tournament Semi-Final Match: "The Eternal Student" Jace Mason vs Chris "Trigger" Cavanagh
The bell rang and the match began with Cavanagh and Mason circling in the center of the ring. The two men locked up and to Cav’s surprise Mason was able to take the advantage by dropping to the mat and pulling Cavanagh down with an arm drag. Mason got to his feet and drove his knee into Cavanagh’s spine twice before applying a side headlock. Mason ground down on the side of Cavanagh’s head as the two men moved back to their feet. Cavanagh landed a pair of elbows and pushed Mason to the ropes.
Tony: "Jace Mason with the early advantage but Trigger seems as if he may be able to turn it around."
Lonnie: "Well what else did you expect?"
Mason bounced back and ducked under Cavanagh’s attempt at a clothesline. Mason hit the ropes again and came in hard with a flying forearm smash. Cavanagh climbed back to his feet as Mason came up from behind and locked in a cross face chicken wing. Cavanagh flailed but they were close enough to the ropes for Cavanagh to grab hold.
Tony: "Jace is going to have to let go of the hold or risk disqualification."
Lonnie: "Hey, he’s got five seconds."
The referee administered his count and while he tried to get Mason off Cavanagh hit a lowblow which the referee didn’t see. Mason moved off of the hold as the referee stared in confusion. Cavanagh hit the ropes and hit a running knee to the side of Mason’s head. Cavanagh went for the cover but Mason was able to kick out at two.
Tony: "Almost the end right there!"
Lonnie: "I was pretty sure Trigger was the first Cavanagh to advance there."
Cavanagh stayed in the attack as he slammed Mason’s head against the mat a few times. Cavanagh got up as the referee threatened to disqualify him. Mason grabbed Cavanagh from behind into a small package but Trigger got out at a count of two. Trigger got his feet and Mason hit him with a super kick. Trigger wobbled and was hit by an STO. Mason pulled himself up to the top rope and continued his momentum with a shooting star press. Mason covered but Trigger kicked out at two!
Tony: "Did you see the form on that shooting star press? Absolutely breath taking!"
Lonnie: "I’ll admit it was impressive but so was that resilient kick out!"
Mason questioned if it was a three and shook off his disbelief. Trigger got up in the corner and Mason came flying at him and connected with a double knee strike to the chest. Trigger stumbled out from the corner. Mason sprang off of the middle rope and caught Trigger with a kick to the jaw. Trigger stood in the center of the ring but from the look on his eyes it was clear he was there in body only.
Tony: "Jace Mason is putting together quite the strong showing here, I don’t think Trigger Cavanagh could have thought this would happen."
Lonnie: "I don’t think anybody thought this would be so lopsided. Poor Trigger, looks like the lights are off there."
Mason grabbed Trigger and flipped him up in the air, contorting his own body with his Extra Credit version of the Spanish Fly. Mason hooked the leg and the referee counts for the three!
Amanda: "Here is your winner, advancing to the fatal four way main event for the FCPW Canadian Championship...JACE MASON!!"
Special thanks to Celtic Club for writing this match!
